HathiTrust’s Data and Analysis Tools for Text Mining Research

This workshop will introduce participants to what is possible with the Hathi Trust Research Centre (HTRC) as a tool for Text Mining Research and include a hands-on component working with HTRC Data Capsules, a powerful took for working with Hathi Trust materials.

Learning objectives

At the end of this workshop, you will be able to:

  1. articulate what is possible with the HTRC,
  2. set up a data capsule through the HTRC,
  3. and run basic analysis on a dataset using a data capsule.
