Introduction to Blockchain Research Skills
This workshop is intended to provide a broad and general introduction to blockchain and other emerging decentralized technologies, followed by a number of exemplar research use cases from its many disciplinary pillars.

Objectives
- Establish a basic understanding of the blockchain data structure and affiliated concepts
- Navigate to view and discuss basic information from the two primary public blockchains, Bitcoin and Ethereum
- Understand what fields and disciplines are interrelated with the emerging multidisciplinary domain “cryptoeconomics”
- Explore real research, and research prompt questions, which contextualize this abstract topic in real-world terms
