Zotero was developed as an extension for Firefox to “live” right where you do your work—in the web browser itself. Zotero runs in its own pane within Firefox, separately from web pages and scrapes information to populate the your citation database. Zotero is free to download. You can download the most recent version whether you are using a Mac, Windows, or Linux operating system here.

Systematic downloading or harvesting articles, citations, metadata (e.g. using citation managers such as EndNote or Zotero) is strictly prohibited. You must contact lib-license@lists.ubc.ca. Permission is required or a Text and Data Mining Package should be purchased.
