Welcome to Descriptive Statistics in R

Through this workshop, we hope to equip you with the skills to summarize your data (quantitatiavely and visually) to share with others, learn more about your data, and inform your analyses.

This workshop assumes a basic understanding of R language, but all learners are welcome to participate.

Learning objectives

At the end of this workshop, you will be able to:

  1. Understand the types of descriptive statistics available in base R
  2. Use packages to generatre descriptive statistics tables
  3. Create descriptive plots
  4. Manipulate data to describe your data
