SRTM Plugin for downloading DEM data

Adding a hillslope to a map can give useful topographic context. But this requires you have DEM data for your area of interest. The SRTM-Downloader plugin allows you to dowload DEM data for your map extent directly within the QGIS interface.

1. Install the SRTM-Downloader plugin

2. Create account

3. Download extent

4. Make Hillshade
