Spatial Visualization and Digital Humanities

Let’s take a look at a few example maps to think about different map/spatial visualization types.

As we are looking at these maps, consider the following questions:

  • What are the components of the map?
  • What features does it have?
  • How do you interact with it?
  • What argument does the map make?
  • How does it communicate its argument?
